YOU can Help Our Preschool Programs

Families participating in the preschool program are strongly encouraged to complete the MDE Application for Educational Benefits.  This form has been referred to as “free or reduced lunches” by some BUT IT IS FAR MORE THAN THAT.   Our preschool program needs you to complete the application.  It may be confusing and we can help fill it out with you.  The district is not penalized if you complete it and you are “over income”.  By completing the form, that helps our program get funding from the State.     This form is only completed one time by the family for the 2025-26 school year.  This form can be returned to the classroom teacher or the Frazee Elementary Office.  All information is confidential.  It should be completed whether they believe you qualify or not.   This is necessary for us to offer classes at a reduced price or at no charge to everyone.    Thank you for taking the time to complete this application and return it to the classroom teachers or the elementary office.  If you have any questions about the form or need help completing it, please contact us.  Again, thank YOU!

ECFE Parent/Child Class  (Newborns to age 5 years old)

Research shows that early childhood programs involving both parents and children are more effective than programs focusing exclusively on children.  Educators and psychologists contend that it is vital for early childhood programs to assist parents in their role as primary educators of their children.  Involving families prior to kindergarten enrollment encourages parents to play an active role in their children’s learning from birth into the elementary years and beyond.   And research confirms that children whose parents are involved in their education and learning are more successful in school.    We encourage all parents to participate in our Early Childhood Family Education classes along with their children.   Classes are being offered Thursday evenings and Friday mornings.  You are registering for the 2025-26 school year.  Please be aware that you are registering your child for the upcoming year and that there is a fee for these classes.    At this time you are not being charged any fees just registering and it will show a zero balance for registration purposes only.   There is a fee for classes and parents will have several options for making payments.   There is a minimum number of students needed for the classes to run and a limited number of spots in each class.  Once classes are filled, families have the option to add their child to the “waitlist”.  We will contact you should there be an opening.

ECFE Parent/Child Class Information:

Tuition is PER FAMILY and not per child.  Please register EACH child who will be attending.  Participants must be 5 years of age (and not enrolled in kindergarten) and under.   Limited spots.

FULL RATE:  $125 annual per family / $62.50 in November & $62.5 in February (NOTE: you will need to register each child who will be attending.)
